Your Voting Experience
November 3, 2020 by Ross Musick
Voting may have looked very different this year, but that doesn’t mean that your experience should be more difficult. Many more people are expected to vote early in person or by absentee ballots to avoid the large crowds on Election Day. This is especially true for voters with disabilities or those at a higher risk for getting COVID-19. This year, Disability Rights Ohio is asking you to share your voting experience in a survey from SABE GoVoter Project.
Your opinions can help polling locations improve their voting services and make the process as smooth as possible. Let them know if you have had any problems with registering to vote, getting information about candidates, or your voting experience in general. For example, according to the GoVoter Project’s survey results from 2014-2018, voters with disabilities have had increasing problems with finding accessible parking. Your response to this survey will help bring these problems to light.
After you've voted, please fill out this survey to make sure your thoughts and concerns are heard.
The survey can be found on Survey Monkey at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SABEGoVoter2020survey in English and https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/SABEGoVoter2020surveySPA in Spanish. The survey is also available in a hard copy format for voter who do not have access to a computer.
