#AdvocacyMatters: Dreaming of an Equitable Tomorrow

Here at DRO, we are dreaming of equity during our winter nights. Regardless of what holiday you celebrate this winter, we hope you find some time to give gratitude. And with the giving season in full swing, we have a hefty goal – and a big favor to ask of you. To welcome the new year, we are hoping to raise $24,000 before the calendar turns over. Even a small donation from you, if you’re able, can help us make these dreams of an equitable tomorrow a reality.

At DRO we run primarily off our federal grant funding, which is designated for specific tasks and responsibilities. This makes our reach much lighter than we would sometimes like, and capabilities only grow by investments from people and organizations like you: Our supporters.

This past year, because of generous support from someone like you, we have been able to dive deeper into the work that truly needs to be done. From investments in public safety to listening sessions with intersectional communities, we have firmly planted into more systemic work, and we hope to bring this into the new year. We are envisioning equity.
