#AdvocacyMatters: Shaping Our Future

Our vision of an equitable Ohio is rooted in the real, lived experiences of disabled people all across the state and throughout the communities we serve. Only through meaningful feedback and deep understanding can we begin to best address the needs of Ohioans with disabilities.

Last week we launched our 2025 Goals & Objectives Survey to collect the experiences, stories, and perspectives that will inform, improve, and shape our work in the coming year. This survey covers a broad range of topics, including education issues, access to voting and civil participation, abuse, neglect, and exploitation, and access to home and community-based services.

Hoping to achieve the clearest snapshot of perspectives from all across our communities, we’ve worked to make this goal-setting process as accessible as possible. Surveys are available in English, Spanish, and Nepali, and can be completed online, via accessible and fillable PDFs, and by mailed paper copy. Our team is also working to survey both children and adults living in facility settings.

Survey responses will be accepted through Friday, June 21st.
