#AdvocacyMatters: Sharing Your Stories

#EveryoneDeservesCare. This series follows disabled Ohioans and their advocates in their fight for access to quality care, through their eyes. Over the last year we have shared with you stories from all over Ohio, and the number of people affected by this crisis continues to go up. This is why today we are launching the story map - “Across Ohio: Direct Care Crisis” - which highlights and culminates all of those stories into a cohesive and shareable project.

Last year, DRO had the distinct pleasure to brainstorm at the National Disability Rights Network Conference with Disability Rights Washington to hear about their usage of an interactive map to tell the story of transportation access in their state. Following this workshop and some great advice from Anna Zivarts at DRW, we knew that we had to begin a project using this same tool to share our #EveryoneDeservesCare stories.
