DRO releases new publication on civil commitment
April 29, 2016 / civil commitment
Disability Rights Ohio has developed a new publication that outlines your rights during the civil commitment process. Civil commitment is a legal process for a probate court to order a person into treatment for their mental illness. It is sometimes called "court-ordered treatment," "involuntary commitment," or even "being probated."
