Below is a video where people with developmental disabilities speak about what's important to them, created by Self Advocates Becoming Empowered.

Self Advocates Becoming Empowered (SABE) is the self-advocacy organization of the United States. Founded in 1990, they have been working hard for the full inclusion of people with developmental disabilities in the community throughout the 50 states and the world for 21 years. Self-advocacy refers to the civil rights movement for people with developmental disabilities.

SABE created this video which includes interviews of people with developmental disabilities answering the question, "What's important to you?"

Disability Rights Ohio is pleased to announce that we will act as a liaison to Self-Advocates Becoming Empowered (SABE) USA’s voting project. We will be on call to provide legal help if any of the polling teams run into difficulties.

We wish everyone to know about and support the right to vote!
