Medicaid expansion is here to stay in Ohio!

On Friday, the Ohio Supreme Court ruled that the State Controlling Board acted legally when they accepted federal money to expand Medicaid to those making 138% of the federal poverty level, an estimated 275,000 Ohioans.
Disability Rights Ohio was one of many policy advocates, service providers and self-advocacy organizations to push for this expansion. Our thanks go out to all those individuals and groups!

Should you apply?
Find out if you're eligible for Medicaid coverage on benefits.ohio.gov. Those currently on Ohio's Medicaid Spend-down Program should definitely apply, as they would likely benefit significantly from Ohio's expansion of Medicaid.
